Senior Project Engineer
Job duties and requirements

Provide masonry related constructability feedback to General Contractor and Architect.
- Review RFIs for changes to the Contract, and schedule.
- Generate, maintain and distribute project control logs and reports.
- Obtain coordination information from General Contractor and other trades to insure
proper interface with masonry work, and coordinate said information accordingly.
- Monitor quality and productivity through regular jobsite visits, and pursue timely resolution of job issues with Superintendent.
- Quantify project material requirements by way of independent estimates.
- Review invoices timely for Accounts Payable action, including jobsite review of tier-subcontractors' progress, and resolution of delivery and price discrepancies with suppliers.
- Assist Superintendent at jobsite as necessary for layout and inventory reconciliation, and for explanation of details, plan changes and material orders.
- Monitor masonry schedule and sequencing for compliance with project schedule and for profitable manpower and equipment levels.
- Quantify and price changes to the contract timely, and diligently pursue negotiation and signed change orders for payment.
- Perform other related functions as when required.
Requires M.S. or equivalent in Civil Engineering and 3 years of experience. Will accept B.S. in Civil Engineering and 5 years of experience in lieu of MS and 3 years of experience.
